Muscular Strength and Endurance Training

Muscular strength and endurance training involves working individual or groups of muscles against a resistance to the point of muscle fatigue.

Both are important for overall health. The time required for muscular training varies depending on the type and format. A typical strength workout lasts between 45 and 60 minutes. If the strength training is only a portion of the workout, it may only last 15-20 minutes.

Some of the benefits or doing muscular strength and endurance training are:
·         Improves ability to perform everyday activities
·         Increases muscle mass
·         Increases metabolism
·         Stronger bones
·         Decreases risk of injury
·         Improves posture and symmetry
