Sports Talk: NBA Playoffs

Ok so first of all, I LOVE this picture and the message on it! I am not a Kobe fan but I do respect his game. The Lakers maybe out but this is so true. It is Kobe’s team and well, the picture message is real! Down 3-1…umm no, he ain’t passing the damn ball!
Boston Celtics/Philadelphia 76ers
Boston leads the series 3-2 and looking to end it tonight in Philly. It seems as if Philly has lost its edge and fire. The way Boston has looked, playing the way they have been playing; they will come out with a win. Philly has to be a little more aggressive and take the ball to the hole…shoot, they need to make shots!  Getting Boston in foul trouble is going to be key to Philly’s success if they want to win game 6 and extend to game 7. Boston’s playoffs stats have increased in every category compared to the regular season. They have a higher shooting percentage and definitely dominating at the line. The way Philly has been playing during the playoffs, there is no way they can afford to get down early and believe they can come back and beat this Celtics team…NO way!
Miami Heat/Indiana Pacers
OMG…game 5 looked so much better for the Heat then the first 4 games even though they lead to series 3-2. I mentioned last week that Miami would lose a game to Indiana but only one. Well of course Indiana proved me wrong. Game 3 was the game I felt Miami would lose…not game 2. But, they lost both and so they were forced to regroup. Regroup they did! Winning games 4 and 5 put them back on track. Game 4 was a good win, but game 5, the team looked like a championship team. Not only did Wade and LBJ play great, they got help from their supporting cast all across the board. In my opinion…GREAT team basketball! Wade had a lot more fire and bounce in his game during game 5. The 3rd quarter during last night’s game was dominated by the Heat. Now I am going to say this again and if I am wrong, I will admit it! But, Miami will end this series in Indiana game 6!!!!!!
San Antonio Spurs/Los Angeles Clippers
The Spurs were just a little much to handle for the Clippers sweeping them in this series.  During this series I really felt the Spurs looked more poised and relaxed. Yes they have playoff and championship experience and it showed against a younger inexperienced team.  I said it before and will say it again, the Spurs has an all-around complete team! #Fact! Sad to see the Clippers go, but up next for the Spurs are KD/Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Oklahoma City Thunder/Los Angeles Lakers
Down 3-1, the Lakers were just not able to pull within reach of the Thunder. The Thunder just seemed to be too quick, fast, and determined compared to the Lakers. There is no doubt this is Kobe’s team! Kobe will get his shots and dominate every quarter, but he is NOT able to win a whole series against the type of team OKC is alone.  Gasol and Bynum just did not play to their potential. Gasol looked scared most of the time during this series; not the Gasol when he first got to the Lakers. TRADE TIME! The Thunder meet the Spurs in Western Conference Finals…..Now I am SUPER DUPER UBER excited about this series and I am not a west fan! I think OKC will give the Spurs a run for their money and will definitely compete. But, I am thinking the Spurs just might come out the West this year. The Thunder is playing GREAT basketball, but I just think the Spurs are not looking to lose.
